A US police chief has stockpiled chainsaws – in case his city is invaded by zombies.
Police lieutenant Bruce Ferguson says his team are ready for any attack on Lansing, Michigan.
“We have been doing mock disasters and cross training for several years,” he told the Lansing State Journal.
“People can feel confident, if zombies start invading, we’ll know how to close the streets. We can get chainsaws too.
“If a swarm comes in on I-496 westbound, we’ll block off the exits so they miss the city.”

If I was a Zombie I’d eat your brains T-ShirtNo one really knows when they will be suddenly struck by a bout of zombie. Would you eat your friends’ brains? Perhaps you would be a vegan zombie? Just in case, it is good, forward thinking to plan out what you would do in such a situation, and let those around you know as well.

GUILFORD CO., NC (WFMY) — Popping the question turned into a haunted affair Tuesday night.
A Triad man is taking the vow “til death to us part” very seriously.
Joshua Soto and Emily Graham had their first date at Woods of Terror last year. So when things got serious, Soto decided to pop the question in the woods.
His girlfriend didn’t even recognize him when he jumped out of the haunted trees, but Graham immediately said yes.
Soto actually told Graham he was out of town for work.
She says she couldn’t believe how much planning he did.
BAD SEGEBERG , Germany, Oct. 30 (UPI) — Police investigating reports of a corpse on a German train near the town of Bad Segeberg said the reported body was actually a drunken man dressed as a zombie.
The Halloween reveler had fallen into a drunken sleep on the train ride home from a party in Hamburg, and his gore-covered zombie costume was mistaken by fellow passengers for a bloody corpse, Sky News reported Tuesday.
Police were called when passengers couldn’t get a response from the man but a first aid team quickly determined that the man wasn’t dead, merely sleeping. The police told him to remove his apparently realistic makeup and he was allowed to continue his train ride home.
“Bad Segeberg is in a rural area and Halloween isn’t very well known there,” police spokeswoman Sikle Tobies told Sky News.
“So people weren’t expecting anyone to be dressed up in the train.”
